How do I submit my site to search engines?
All search engine submitters are obsolete. The search engines want to be as natural as possible, so they use bots called spiders which find your site automatically.
Hint: To increase the amount of spiders that find your site, get other websites to link to your site.
The real question here is how do I improve my web site search rankings. Here are a few tips.
Search engines are looking for sites all the time and will likely find you so you do not need to contact Google or others to be included in their search results. Because Google and other engines use spiders to index webpages, and only the search engine's internal algorithms will decide what keywords are used and what rank you get.
Meta Tags were once used to identify keywords and the industry trrend is to ignore them. Meta Tags are now ignored by Google.
Hint: You can, however, set your page title and description meta-tags, and search engines will see them and might choose to use them.
